Thankful 10

Today I am choosing thankfulness as my theme. Some days I just try to make it through till bed time followed by a glass of wine. Today I'm looking at what I can be thankful for in every moment.
Here are ten of those things.

1)Thankful for today's challenge card for Lisa Somerville's Blogger's Challenge. Thanks Lisa for picking Old Olive, Riding Hood Red and Really Rust as our challenge colors. You broadened my scope. :)
2)Thankful for my new fancy coffee/tea/hot chocolate maker. "If I were stranded on a desert island...."
3)Thankful for watercolor re-inker masterpieces from my presh 2 year old. She loves using "buhshes".
4)Thankful that I have to tuck in Mr Sheep too!
5)Thankful that though my calender has crayon all over it (I wonder what plans were written down), I don't REALLY have to fight Darth Maul on the 25th! Double light sabers are tricky dude.6)Thankful for picture wallets (idea courtesy of my SIL Bits. Thanks Bits!) that my kids want to look at all the time. I'm thinking of making one with extended family members so the kids can see who to pray for.
7)Thankful that I can have music with me while I get my housework done.
"He knows a song will help the job along" - Mary Poppins 8)Thankful for the fall colors surrounding my house.
9)Thankful that my son shares in my love of stamping
10)Thankful that my childhood afforded me the addiction for chocolate and hazelnut spread. And that a friend picked up twenty-one $1 off coupons for Nutella. You love me.So I'm going to share the love in my thankfulness for YOU. The first 10 people to leave a comment listing ten things they are thankful for will be mailed two coupons. One to keep, and one to share. Don't forget to leave your address! :)

Hi Bev.. great post.

Here are 10 things I am thankful for, not in any particular order:

1. My family, without them I wouldn't be much.

2. Our country, I love America so much, yet am sad as to what is happening to it these days.

3. Our military, being I am an Army wife, Air Force Mom, Army daughter and sister.. this couldn't be left off my list.

4. Fresh air, for us all to breath.

5. Health, so that I can be here to see my kids grow up.

6. Internet, I could live without a cell phone, but not the internet.

7. My Dyson vacuum.. oh my.. I love it!

8. HP, for making my awesome computer.

9. Our Armada, so that when I take my kids somewhere, I feel that they are safe.

10. Sonic Drive-In ~ so that I can get my daily dose of a 44 oz. Diet Coke with Lime slices.. yum, yum!

I seen some coupons like that recently in the commissary, I can't eat the stuff because of my pancreas, if I had known you liked it, I would've grabbed some.. glad that somebody got some for you.

I do love that nutella spread too! So, I feel the need to reply to save on that yummy goodness!

My thankful list (not necessary in this order)
1. Yummy cookies - see my Thankful Thursday post on my blog!
2. My adorable kiddies - aren't we all thankful for the little ones.
3. for Fall - I love this time of year
4. My daughter's song for her school program that she has been practicing all week - "I'm in the Lord's Army - YES SIR!"
5. All the laundry being done!
6. The smell of Chili cooking on the stove-YUM-O!!
7. A nice chat with my DAD
8. A good tune - try Hallelujah Song by Julianne Hough
9. Playing stuffed animals with my adorable 2 year old - he just got a new Curious George from Kohl's today!
10. and no list would be complete without being thankful for all those that God has blessed me with knowing!

Thanks for the fun!
- Mandy

Your card is beautiful - I love how you used the punch at the top. Great idea!
I am thankful for -
1) Jesus Christ, my Savior
2) my husband, the love of my life
3) my daughter, precious only child
4) my new Blackberry so I can stay connected all the time!
5) my SU business because of the friends it has brought me and because it pays the car payment each month!
6) my new Plum Patent Leather purse. It makes me feel stylish even when I'm dressed down.
7) my flannel pj's because when I'm cold, my family doesn't have to suffer with the heat turned up
8) my dog, Buster because he forces me to get out and walk 3 times a day
9) cool, crisp Fall weather - time to break out the sweaters
10) Chocolate because with the exception of #'s 1-3 on my list, life just isn't the same without it!
I don't need the coupon - keep it and enjoy. I just wanted to play along. Thanks for making us think about it!

What a wonderful post. It's always great to look at the Positive in one's life instead of dwelling on the negative.

Love your card too. Butterflies are a personal favorite and they look great on your card.

What a lovely card....Fall colors, but it is not a Fall theme!! Fabulous!! LOVE that cute little "tab" at the top with the Cute & Curley Punch....just ingenious!
So, what am I thankful for?...
my amazing hubby...he's my best friend and can still make me laugh, even after 31 years of marriage!

my friends,
the support of my hubby in all that I do....especially that he is so tolerant of my stamping passion!
my health,
my lifestyle....I am so fortunate in so many ways!
This is such a lovely idea....thank YOU for making me take a few minutes to think about what I am thankful for!!
